Worcester , Mass. Al Prescott, President of Crescent Innovations Inc., was featured on the WPI Venture Forum Radio Program on March 12, 2005 on WTAG, AM 580. On the show, Mr. Prescott discussed a variety of issues that entrepreneurs deal with on a daily basis with hosts Mitch Sanders, President of ECI Biotech, and Bob Hokanson, Executive Producer of the WPI Venture Forum Radio Program and Executive Board member of the Venture Forum.

Several of the issues discussed included the use of business advisors, advantages of a good Board of Directors, the challenges of raising capital, the benefits of a good business plan, and a company's role in its community.

Crescent Innovations Inc. has been based in Worcester since its inception. Crescent Innovations business plan was a finalist at the WPI Venture Forum's Business Plan Contest in 2001. Since then, it has received one U.S. Patent and applied for five others. The company received its first Federal Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Grant in 2004 for treatment of TMJ disorders, and is a frequent donor to the Central Massachusetts Homeless Veterans Shelter in Worcester, MA.
